Purpose
of the Position |
|
| |
- Support the sales team
with CISCO product knowledge and designing
LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security/IPT/IPCC/DC solutions for customers.
- Assist the sales
support team in the generation of quotes, technical write-ups and
solution proposals.

Qualifications |
|
| |
- Minimum qualification
of Matric is required.
- Ideally, CISCO
technical certification e.g. CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP/CCVP or equivalent in
HP, Mitel, Avaya.

Experience |
|
| |
We
are looking for:
- At least 3 - 5 years
CISCO Product Management or Pre-Sales/solution design experience,
preferably across multiple industry sectors.
- An alternative to
CISCO experience would be HP, Mitel, Avaya.
- An understanding of
PABX or IP Telephony and Networking/Infrastructure/Data Centre
solutions.
- Experience in
supporting a sales team in the design and pricing of CISCO or similar
solutions.
- Will preferably have
worked for a Reseller or Vendor.

Responsibilities |
|

- Work closely with the
sales team in designing the relevant CISCO solution for customers and
recommending appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
- Assist in creating the
solution design, technical proposal, pricing and co-ordinating the
related product collateral for bids.
- Accompany sales
consultants to customers and assist with identification of
customers’ requirements.

- Ability to understand
business requirements and map them to a technical solution.
- Write technical
proposals for customer solutions and produce relevant
diagrams.
- Experience with
NetFormx, CISCO configurator and pricing tools.
- Use MS Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Strong communication
skills, well presented, ability to present a technical solution.
- Good listening and
proposal development skills.
- Possess strong
interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, team
player, show initiative.
- Work independently, be
self-motivated and self-managed.
- Manage and meet strict
and tight deadlines.
- Preferably have
contacts and relationships with key networking and infrastructure
vendors and distributors.
